Wishing you many more sleepful nights. I do think there are some undocumented side effects of our kids being on caffiene when in NICU.
I catch Elizabeth reading her books at all hours of the night 3-4am usually is a good time for her to catch up on her reading.

Sarah: Do tell what vitamins you are using! Which vit(s) of the combo do you think may be helping? Or was it just a lucky discovery? My kind thinks Axid is "yummy" but that the really nice tasting omaga/DHA combo I tried to give her was "yucky," so there is no telling what she might like!

The omaga combo was all plant based and tasted like strawberry cream to me! She prefers the nasty fish-tasting ones!

That is so amazing! Lili still doesn't sleep through the night--I often am amazed actually, at how little sleep this child gets at all and am awed at her ability to function. She was a preemie but only 6 weeks (and after reading about the incredible fighters like Eliza, what seemed frightening to us at the time, I now realize is nothing compared to the fights so many of these sweet miracles fight.) From day one, her "witching hours" have been like clockwork--1:45, 2:45-3 ish, 4:40, 5:30 til awaking. Even a "good" night consists of the cry outs at 4:40 am and of course, naps? Forget it! Wishing you many nights of peaceful slumber...

Hey - shoot me an email when you get a chance. We started Emery on some vitamins and he has now slept the night through for 8 solid days that we have been giving them.... and he's falling asleep within minutes of going to bed, no more jerking, no more kicking, no more waking and 3 a.m. party time.
